During my stay at Hotel Suonenjoki, I was impressed by the charming 1940s building and the free private parking for guests arriving by car. The single room I stayed in was comfortable, equipped with air conditioning, electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV, providing a cozy atmosphere. The hotel's sauna and fitness center were perfect for relaxation, and I particularly enjoyed lounging in front of the open fireplace in the guest lounge. The complimentary full breakfast was a delightful touch, offering a great start to each day.The small hotel had a home-like feel, with a fully equipped guest kitchen that added to the comfort of the stay. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit.The location of the hotel in central Suonenjoki made it easy to explore the natural beauty of the area, including the Southern Konnevesi National Park and Uimaranta. As an environmental activist, I found it reassuring that the property was managed by a professional host who prioritized safety and sustainability.
